Drop shadow, color overlay, stroke, and other layer styles that apply non-destructively to layers.
Layer effects (also called layer styles) are non-destructive visual effects attached to a layer. They update automatically when the layer content changes and can be edited, disabled, or removed at any time.
Add a shadow behind the layer content. The shadow follows the shape of opaque pixels on the layer.
| Setting | Description |
|---|---|
| Color | Shadow color (default: black) |
| Opacity | Shadow transparency (0-100%) |
| Angle | Direction of the shadow (0-360 degrees) |
| Distance | Offset from the layer in pixels |
| Spread | Size of the solid portion (0-100%) |
| Size | Blur radius of the shadow in pixels |
| Blend Mode | How the shadow composites (usually Multiply) |
